Scams, Rip Off Merchants, Bad Debtors & More Music Industry Scum

This week's In Music & Media has a truly beautiful column by Phil Tripp - Scams, Rip Off Merchants, Bad Debtors & More Music Industry Scum - How to Get Over Them.

Discussed are typical tricks of deadbeats of all sizes, useful templates for suitable paperwork and how to rain legal nuclear flaming death upon them simply and effectively. "These people aren't honest little businessmen whose BAS kept them from opening their mail or GST payments kept them from paying their bills - these were professional deadbeats who figure that if they don't pay their bills, their creditors will in most cases give up and go away while they continue to operate in the music business without a problem."

Print the column out and put it on your wall where people can see it as they walk in, and remember to send Phil a thank-you note the first time it works for you.
